In Big Fork, Montana near Flathead Lake, we had the privilege of constructing this classic mountain home. Because we were given the opportunity to fabricate all of the interior cabinetry & millwork for this project, you can see the attention to detail in every piece.

Our Experience with Woodworks West
The degree of craftsmanship, skill, and expertise available to us through the team at Woodworks West is part of what attracted us to their organization as we began designing our home. The second most alluring attribute was their vertical integration capabilities that include expertise and project management in all facets of the building process. This was important to us as we wanted to build a home of distinction complete with a gourmet kitchen, custom cabinetry, rustic beamed ceiling, furniture quality built-ins, spa bathrooms, and unique quality solid wood doors and finishes. As we researched Woodworks West we discovered that they had the ability to meet all our needs. Most importantly they had the solid business reputation we required in a company that would be selected to build our Montana dream home.
After we accepted the construction bid the building began in December with a completion time of seven months. The worked progressed smoothly. Will’s crew had the house solidly framed and dried in by the first week in January so that interior work could continue through the winter months. Will worked with us in a collaborative manner, listening and responding when we had ideas that might have differed from our original design. This was important because we wanted our home to be exceptionally right for us. He would discuss the feasibility of each proposed change and if necessary would explain any additional cost involved. The costs were understandable, fairly priced, and in some instances no additional cost was incurred at all. We were so grateful to Will for his building experience and ideas that kept us on budget and enhanced the final outcome.
The production schedule was competently maintained with a hands-on approach that inspired trust and confidence. All of the custom items arrived on time, to our specifications, and were installed with skill and care. Woodworks West gave us the home we envisioned and so much more! We have been in our home a while now and we are still delighted at the attention to detail, the gorgeous cabinetry, and precision that went into its construction.
